BBG acted for a major European private bank in the original leasing of its 59,000 sf (5,480 sq m) London Headquarters in the heart of the City’s financial district.
We have subsequently negotiated “inside the Act” lease renewals to secure both the Bank’s long term occupation and flexibility of future action; together with rent reviews at a favourable level to underpin its operating costs.
The Bank’s need for overflow resulted in our identifying and negotiating its leasing of an 11,400 sf (1,060 sq m) overflow office for its Treasury functions in the immediate vicinity of its HQ.
BBG’s rates consultant Rob Purkiss has also saved the Bank substantial sums in negotiating a rate reduction for nearby building works.
In 2021 we alerted the Bank to a further expansion opportunity in its main HQ and subsequently negotiated leading terms to lease an additional 22,400sf floor.
