BBG advises Groveworld on purchase of 1.5 acre regeneration site in King’s Cross

Acting on behalf of Groveworld Ltd, BBG has bought the freehold interest of 330 Gray’s Inn Road, WC1, the site of The Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital for over 140 years.
The site comprises 1.5 acres of land and will continue to be used by the hospital until the end of 2020 when it will move to a new site on Huntley Street. Groveworld will use that time to seek a planning consent for a new high-quality mixed-use scheme, likely to have a GDV in excess of £300m and regenerating what will be a redundant site.
