BBG joins BIG DIG ALLIANCE

Many thanks to Heart of the City and The BIG Alliance for organising the ‘Volunteering Taster Day’ in Caledonian Park, EC1.

Some aching shoulders followed BBG’s participation. Our limited gardening skills, plus some heavy lifting were supremely and safely marshalled by the committed Volunteers in digging out, then helping construct a new ​raised herb bed for the enjoyment of local residents and children in ​Caledonian Park (Islington Borough’s second largest area of green space). We also enjoyed meeting other volunteers from Anthony Gold, Fox Rodney, Fragomen, Quantem, The Lift Consultancy, WeAgile and CBRE.
