Have you seen one of these Atoll? At all?

The Atoll (named after a ring shaped coral reef) is the spectacular installation by award winning artist Morag Myerscough in the vibrant foyer at 1 Finsbury Avenue Broadgate EC2. It is home to the Butterscotch bakery and a morning pit-stop for a flat-white and a Danish en route to the office for our client who has just leased space in British Land’s new “Storey” office concept.

This was one of many features which encouraged our client to take up to 200 desks in c.12,000 sq ft of mostly open plan space in 1 Finsbury Avenue. Located at the epicentre of London’s FinTech industry, nestled between the City of London and Shoreditch, the offices are refurbished in a “media style” to a very high standard. The other key attractions were lease flexibility, break clauses, options to expand and the ability to “personalise” their space. In addition the top floor boasts a 3,000 sq ft roof terrace with a bar, and breath taking views over the City.

We are particularly excited about the building and this transaction as it is one of the first for BBG’s newly created Flexible Office Team, headed by Nick Jones, which covers managed offices, co-working and serviced office transactions. The team provides a free office search and advisory service to help you find a London office, identifying availability of the best options that can accommodate your change management plans and help you achieve very favourable terms. If you are thinking of moving office, whether that be for a serviced office or leased space, please get in touch!

For further information about this transaction please contact either Nick Jones or Tom Boggis.
